As
part of the Year of Public Engagement, the Office of the President has
identified resources to facilitate engagement efforts.
Competitive
Engagement Grants Program
A competitive Engagement Grants program will be established in which 10 to
20 grants of $5,000-$10,000 each will be awarded (total pool of $100,000).
The grants will be given for demonstration projects in the spirit of the Year
of Public Engagement. Preference will be given to new projects that demonstrate
innovative approaches to how we as a University can engage with the public,
and those that show great promise for sustainability in the future.
