Lindsay Knudson

Involved with the Johnson County Relay For Life for the past five years, Lindsay Knudson, Asssistant Director of Alumni and Collegiate Relations in the UI College of Medicine, is serving for the second time as event co-chair. The Relay For Life, an overnight event in which people take turns walking laps, is designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for the American Cancer Society.

Ms. Knudson acknowledges that there is "a special place in my heart for this event because cancer has touched my life so intimately." Ms. Knudson's mother is a four-year survivor of pancreatic cancer.

Anyone interested in participating in Relay For Life scheduled for June 10-11 should contact Lindsay Knudson at lindsay-knudson@uiowa.edu.
